  1. General Provisions<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n1.1. This procedure establishes the rules for admitting students to vocational education programmes at the Estonian Massage and Therapy School (hereinafter referred to as \u201cthe School\u201d) in accordance with \u00a7 25 of the Vocational Educational Institutions Act, \u00a7 12 of the Private Schools Act, and Regulation No. 25 of the Minister of Education and Research dated 28 August 2013, \u201cProcedure for Admission of Students to Vocational Educational Institutions\u201d.\r\n\r\n1.2. For the purpose of organizing the admission of students to vocational education programmes, the Director of the School shall establish an admissions committee by directive. The mandate of the committee shall be valid for one year, and the Director shall approve the committee\u2019s rules of procedure.\r\n\r\n1.3. The admissions committee shall consist of at least five members, including at least one member of the School\u2019s management.\r\n\r\n1.4. The duties of the admissions committee are defined in the admissions committee\u2019s rules of procedure approved by the Director of the Estonian Massage and Therapy School.\r\n\r\n1.5. All Estonian citizens and persons legally residing in Estonia on the basis of a residence permit have equal rights to apply for admission to the School.\r\n\r\n1.6. The admission of foreign nationals whose permanent residence is not in Estonia and persons with disabilities shall be conducted in accordance with the conditions and procedures established by the Government of the Republic.\r\n\r\n1.7. Student admission shall be carried out in accordance with the School\u2019s admission calendar.\r\n\r\n1.8. Admission to studies takes place on the basis of an interview under the conditions established by the School.\r\n\r\n1.9. Requirements for commencing studies related to a specific vocation, specialty, profession, or qualification level are established in the vocational education standard and the relevant School curriculum.\r\n\r\n1.10. Admission to a curriculum corresponding to the fifth qualification level requires the completion of upper secondary education.\r\n\r\n1.11. Applicants have the right to receive information about the School and its organization of studies.\r\n

    1. Submission of Documents and Admission Conditions<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n2.1. Applicants shall complete the prescribed application form either in person at the School or electronically via the School\u2019s website. In addition to the dates specified in the admission calendar, applications are accepted year-round.\r\n\r\n2.2. No later than the day of the interview, the applicant shall submit the following documents in person:\r\n\r\na completed application form;\r\n\r\nan identity document and a copy thereof;\r\n\r\na document certifying at least upper secondary education and a copy thereof;\r\n\r\na medical certificate confirming a health check for infectious diseases, pursuant to \u00a7 13 of the Infectious Diseases Prevention and Control Act;\r\n\r\nthree document photos;\r\n\r\nan interview fee of \u20ac10.\r\n\r\n2.3. Applications submitted by candidates are registered in the \u201cRegister of Admission Applications\u201d.\r\n\r\n2.4. The documents of admitted students are retained by the School and returned upon graduation or termination of studies after completion of the clearance form and against signature.\r\nDocuments of applicants who are not admitted are returned against signature after notification of the admissions committee\u2019s decision.\r\n\r\n2.5. An applicant admitted to the School must confirm their intention to commence studies by the deadline set by the School.\r\n\r\n2.6. No later than the start of the academic year, applicants shall be enrolled in the list of students by a directive of the Director, and students shall be registered in the Estonian Education Information System, based on the proposal of the admissions committee and the applicant\u2019s confirmation to commence studies.\r\n\r\n2.7. An applicant may challenge the Director\u2019s directive regarding inclusion in the list of students by filing an objection in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act or by submitting an appeal to an administrative court in accordance with the Code of Administrative Court Procedure.\r\n\r\n2.8. A first-year student who fails to commence studies without a valid reason within two weeks after the start of studies shall be removed from the list of students.\r\n\r\n2.9. Students may be admitted to a curriculum during the academic year on the basis of a written application, to which the documents listed in clause 2.2 of this procedure must be attached.\r\nAdmission decisions shall be made in accordance with the procedure established herein.\r\n

      1. Conduct of the Admission Interview<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n3.1. Admission interviews are conducted in accordance with the admission calendar.\r\n\r\n3.2. Members of the admissions committee shall, if necessary, advise applicants on achieving the learning outcomes specified in the curriculum, the recognition of prior learning and work experience (RPL\/V\u00d5TA), and other study-related regulatory documents.\r\n\r\n3.3. Only applicants who have successfully completed the admission interview may apply for the desired specialty.\r\n\r\n3.4. The admissions committee shall approve admission results by the deadline specified in the admission calendar.\r\n\r\n3.5. Students admitted to the School shall conclude and sign a study contract with the School\u2019s owner.\r\n\r\n3.6. The list of admitted applicants shall be published on the School\u2019s notice board by the date specified in the admission calendar.\r\n\r\n3.7. Information regarding admission is also available by phone at +372 664 6191.\r\n\r\n3.8. By the start of studies, the Director shall enroll applicants in the list of students by directive, and the relevant data shall also be entered into the Estonian Education Information System.\r\n\r\n3.9. Admitted students shall be issued a student card and a study results record card.\r\n

        1. Appeals<\/strong><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n4.1.
