In modern dog salons, dog massage is a long-standing practice. So many may immediately think that massage is a new dog-crazy trend, but in fact it plays a very important role in caring for the animal’s health.
Similar to humans, massage affects both the dog’s physical form and mental health. Massage cares for the muscles, joints and fur of the animal. The animal masseurs of the Estonian School of Massage and Therapy are well educated specialists who know how to direct the pet owner’s attention to potential danger points in the dog’s health. Tumors that do not yet hurt the dog and that the owner would otherwise not notice are often found during the massage.
